JUGAAD – Scrap to Solution

Welcome to JUGAAD – Scrap to Solution by Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal, Punjab!

JUGAAD challenges participants to design and build innovative and practical solutions using scrap or recycled materials. The event focuses on creativity, sustainability, and converting waste into useful products. Participants are encouraged to think like product developers and create solutions that can be used in real life.

• Build a modular vertical farming system using used PVC pipes for growing vegetables or plants in limited spaces such as balconies or rooftops.

• Create usable and reasonably strong chairs, tables, or shelves using cardboard and wooden scrap materials.
